Travel and landscapes

I got the travel bug in my twenties. It coincided with the beginning of my interest in photography. I bought my first SLR - a Yashica FRII - in Tokyo's Narita Airport on my way to the UK. It seemed very high-tech at the time. In London, I bought a used Canon A1 with a 50mm lens and have stuck with Canon ever since. My cameras have been a constant companion on my travels.

 

I love to hike, get out to the great outdoors. Many of my travels have involved walking and although I like to travel light, where I go, the camera goes.
